"We want a low maintenance and functional garden” is normally our brief when meeting new clients. Tasked with fully landscaping this show home for Davies Homes, we designed a main feature garden with a concrete fire place, redwood edging and kwila seating, a concrete pad and pine decking. Surrounding the fire place are lovely Lilly Pillies to provide privacy and slow growing Conifers that will require minimal attention.

Around the back we have set up three black planter boxes for veges and flowers, what will end up as the 'hardest' part of the garden to maintain, as well as an astroturf back lawn. Down the side of the house we have planted some vibrant Lomandra grasses against stained black mulch and a jet black fence to really highlight its light green colour.

Around the front of the house we've continued using black mulch and Conifers in the garden along with some fragrant Star Jasmine, edged in a semi circle with pavers and gleaming Awarua White Stone. For the front lawn we've rolled some instant lawn from Fine Lawn to ensure a weed free, soft and vibrant lawn, and the only section of the property that will require mowing.

This show home was brought to life with stained redwood sleepers for seating around the entertainment area to focus on the firepit. The firth pavers with the astroturf from Unreal Turf gave a clean fresh look all year round.
